PM congratulates Pranab Mukherjee for being honoured by Cote D'Ivoire
New Delhi, June 15 Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated President Pranab Mukherjee for being honoured with the highest national award of Cote D'Ivoire.
"Congratulations to Rashtrapatiji on being conferred Grande Croix Commandeur in National Merit Order, highest national award of Côte d’Ivoire," Modi tweeted.

Mukherjee, who is on his maiden visit to Cote D'Ivoire, was accorded the highest honour of the African country by its President Alassane Ouattara at a simple ceremony at the Presidential Palace last night.
It is the first such honour accorded to Mukherjee who has received a number of honorary degrees, Press Secretary to the President Venu Rajamony said.
