PM congratulates ISRO for successful launch of GSAT 15
New Delhi, Nov 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tonight congratulated ISRO for the successful launch of India's latest communication satellite GSAT-15 from the spaceport of Kourou in French Guiana.
"Congratulations to the entire team @isro for the successful launch of GSAT-15 Communication Satellite," Modi said in a Twitter post.
Seeking to augment telecommunication, Direct-To-Home and radio navigation services, the satellite was injected into the intended Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) about 43 minutes after a perfect lift-off of Ariane spacecraft.
