PM Abe begins his address with 'Namaste'
New Delhi, Dec 12: Visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said ‘namaste' while delivering joint statement at yderabad House here on Saturday.
Abe arrived here on Friday on a three-day official visit. He met President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday.

He was conferred with an honorary doctorate in International Relations by Jawaharlal Nehru University here for Japan's role in India's economic development.
JNU has Japanese Studies Programme at research, postgraduate and undergraduate level in the School of International
Studies and School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies.
Visiting PM will witness the Ganga 'aarti' and a cultural extravaganza along with PM Narendra Modi in Varanasi this evening.
Shinzo Abe and PM Modi will land by a special aircraft at the Babatpur airport in Varanasi around 4 pm.
