Plume Expands Global Footprint With First Office In India
Plume, the innovator behind the world's premier SaaS experience platform for communications service providers (CSPs), has inaugurated its first office in India, situated in Hyderabad.
Presently, Plume boasts a workforce exceeding 500 employees who cater to over 400 CSPs globally. This new establishment in India marks Plume's tenth office and aims to bolster its global expansion with CSPs in the region and beyond. The new team will spearhead research and development across various technical domains, including software engineering, data engineering, DevOps, and quality assurance (QA). Leading the office is Shrinivas Bairi, Vice President and Site Leader, who brings with him a wealth of technology leadership experience from companies like Intel and Qualcomm.

"Our strategic partnership with Reliance Jio, India's leading telecom provider, announced at the end of last year, is geared towards serving more than 200 million households across India. Establishing an office in Hyderabad underscores our commitment to nurturing this relationship and expanding our local market presence, which is pivotal to our long-term vision," stated Plume's Chief Development Officer, Kiran Edara.
Edara further elaborated, "We were also drawn to the vibrant business landscape, rapidly burgeoning startup ecosystem, and the highly skilled and educated talent pool. India has emerged as a beacon of excellence for software development, and our new Plume team will be instrumental in driving global expansion for our customer base and industry. Our new colleagues will seamlessly integrate with our current technology professionals to tackle complex technical challenges at scale. We are thrilled about the prospects that lie ahead as we persist in innovating and creating substantial value for our business."
The Hyderabad office will function as an extension of Plume's research and development teams, concentrating on software engineering roles spanning cloud, AI, web development, information security, and support.
