Pleasant weather continues in Delhi

New Delhi, May 12: Partly cloudy sky and light showers kept mercury in check in the city with the maximum temperature settling at pleasant 35 degree Celsius today.

The national capital received 0.7 mm rain between 8:30 in the morning and 5:30 in the evening. According to MeT department, maximum temperature was registered at 35.3 degree Celsius, which was four degree below normal and almost similar to yesterday's 35.2 degree Celsius.

Minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degree Celsius which was normal for this part of the year. However, it was slightly higher from the previous day when it had settled at 23.5 degree Celsius.

Humidity level oscillated between 41 and 68 per cent. The Met office has forecast similar weather for tomorrow with possibility of rain and thunderstorms in some areas which may cause mercury to fall further. The maximum temperature is expected to remain around 33 deg C while the minimum may settle around 23 deg C.
