Pleasant Tuesday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, May 27: The weather also showed its charm on Delhi on the first day after Narendra Modi took charge as India's Prime Minister.

It was a pleasant on Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded three notches below average at 24.0 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a clear day.

"Mainly clear skies with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius," said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

Monday's maximum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 36.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled six notches below average at 21.4 degrees Celsius.
