Pleasant Holi morning in Delhi, may rain

New Delhi, March 17: A clear sky and bright sun made a perfect start to Holi celebrations in Delhi Monday. The weather office forecast light rains in the evening.

"The sky will remain mainly clear but might turn cloudy from evening onwards. One or two spells of rains are expected in the evening," said an India Meteorological Department official.

Monday's minimum temperature was 16 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.

Sunday's minimum temperature was 15.5 degrees Celsius -- a notch above the season's average. The maximum temperature was 31.6 degrees Celsius or two notches above average.
