"With convenient daytime departures in both directions, the flights enable seamless connections via Delhi to customers travelling to/from various parts of India as well as North America, Europe, Australia, and several countries in Southeast Asia," the release said.
Other Airlines Operating to Prayagraj
Apart from Air India, IndiGo and Akasa Air are also offering flights to Prayagraj from various cities. This expanded air connectivity provides travellers with multiple options, ensuring better accessibility to the religious mega-event.
Plan Your Travel in Advance
With millions expected to attend Maha Kumbh, flight demand is high. Booking tickets in advance is highly recommended to secure preferred travel dates and the best fares. Travellers should also check baggage policies and travel guidelines before flying.
Accommodation Options in Prayagraj
Finding accommodation during Maha Kumbh can be challenging due to the large number of visitors. Hotels, guesthouses, lodges, and ashrams will be in high demand, making early booking essential. The government has also set up tent cities for budget-friendly stays.
Local Transport and Connectivity
Prayagraj's local transport, including buses, taxis, and e-rickshaws, will be strengthened for the event. Special shuttle services may also be available between the airport and major Kumbh venues to facilitate easy movement.
