Peter Mukerjea's custody extended, says he is not guilty

Mumbai, Dec 1: Former media tycoon Peter Mukerjea was sent to judicial custody till Dec 14. Mukerjea was arrested and has been under investigation with respect to the murder of Sheena Bora.

According to a TOI report, Mukerjea was on Monday, Nov 30 overhead telling a CBI official: "Hold me as long as you want but am not guilty of anything."

Mukerjea had undergone a lie-detector test last week and the reports were expected by Tuesday.

CBI has subjected Mukerjea to intense questioning since November 19 when he was taken into custody which ranged from alleged siphoning off funds from the media house founded by him and Indrani, overseas account of Sheena Bora, relations between family members, missing details of Sheena and his conversations with his son Rahul.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness has claimed that he had seen Indrani Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai at a forested patch in the neighbouring Raigad district, where Sheena Bora's remains were found earlier this year on April 25, 2012.
