New friends in jail: Peter Mukerjea shares home-cooked food with Chhagan Bhujbal
Mumbai, April 5: NCP Leader Chhagan Bhujbal, who is in Arthur jail over charges of money-laundering against him, has found a friend in former media tycoon Peter Mukerjea, who is arrested in connection with the murder case of Sheena Bora.
Ironically, Bhujbal is lodged in Barrack No 12, whose construction he had approved in 2008, when he was state's PWD minister.

According to media reports, Bhujbal shares barrack with another NCP leader Ramesh Kadam and Peter Mukherjea.
Peter, who is said to be sharing good equation with former Maharashtra deputy CM, is sharing his home-cooked with the latter.
Bhujbal had requested jail authorities for home-cooked food, but his demand was rejected by a court.
In Dec 2015, Magistrate's court had allowed Peter Mukerjea, to get home food, as he is a "senior citizen with heart ailments and is on medication to lower his cholesterol".
In jail, lunch is served at 11 am and dinner at 5 pm. Those permitted home food can have their lunch delivered at 10 am and dinner at 4 pm.
