Manish Sisodia Confident That Ludhiana West Voters Will Support AAP for Development

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia expressed confidence that the people of Ludhiana West desire development and will support his party. This statement came on the final day of campaigning for the Ludhiana West assembly bypoll. According to an AAP statement, Sisodia emphasised Ludhiana's economic and industrial importance.

Ludhiana is often called the economic capital of Punjab and is likened to Manchester due to its industrial prominence. The industries in Ludhiana have significantly contributed to Punjab's progress. The AAP government is promoting an industry-friendly atmosphere through new policies, better infrastructure, and easier administration to boost business and industry.

Focus on Development and Connectivity

The government's initiatives include improving connectivity and access between cities, creating a favourable environment for investment. The AAP aims to develop not only Ludhiana but also the entire Punjab as a centre for industry, education, and employment. Sisodia stated that from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to AAP workers, everyone is dedicated to ensuring a prosperous future for Punjab.

Sisodia praised AAP leaders and workers for their relentless campaigning efforts in the intense heat. They have been actively spreading awareness about the state government's achievements. The Ludhiana West seat became vacant after AAP MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi passed away in January.

Upcoming By-Election

The AAP has nominated Sanjeev Arora for the Ludhiana West seat. He will compete against BJP's Jiwan Gupta, Congress's Bharat Bhushan Ashu, and Shiromani Akali Dal's Parupkar Singh Ghuman. The by-election is scheduled for June 19, with vote counting set for June 23.

The government's policies focus on enhancing the quality of life for Punjab's residents and elevating the state's development. Sisodia highlighted that these efforts are aimed at achieving new heights in progress.
