PDP worker shot dead in Kashmir

He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

A PDP worker, identified as Mohd Ishaq, was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Saturday in Anantnag.

According to reports from Kashmir, gunmen barged into the home of Ishaq Parray, son of Abdul Gani, resident of Ugjan village of Dialgam, and opened indiscriminate fire on him.

He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Earlier this year three PDP members were shot, out of which only one survived. PDP district president Abdul Gani Dar, 64, was killed on April 25 when three unidentified militants intercepted his vehicle and shot him dead in Pulwama, as per Indian Express.
