Payworld offers Rs 20 free recharge for flood affected
Chennai, Dec 10: Payment service provider Payworld, an initiative from the Sugal&Damani Group of Companies, has offered free recharge of Rs 20 to people who are stranded in or those who have lost contact with family members in the flood-affected city.
Affected people can send an SMS to a mobile number of Payworld and get immediate recharge of Rs 20. The facility is available to Chennai customers and also from other states who can send and get recharged for designated mobile number.

Payworld also said that it would not charge for remittances till December 17, the company said in a statement.
"In this hour of adversity, we extend our solidarity with our fellow citizens of the city and have decided to provide free Mobile top up and also not to charge any fee for money remittances," Payworld COO, Praveen Dhabhai said.
