Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM, To Start 'Sanatan Dharma Tour' Today

Andhra Pradesh deputy Chief Minister and leader of Jana Sena, Pawan Kalyan is starting his Sanatana Dharma Protection Tour from today. He will visit to temples in Kerala and Tamil Nadu over four days. The tour aims to highlight cultural and religious values.

His journey will kick off at the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala. Following this, he plans to visit several other significant temples including Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Sri Parashurama Swamy Temple, Agastya Jeeva Samadhi, Kumbeshwara Temple, Swamimalai, and Thiruthani Subramanya Swamy Temple.

Political Implications of Pawan's Tour

The majority of Pawan's temple visits will occur in Tamil Nadu. Previously, he criticized Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks on Sanatana Dharma, which stirred political debates in the state. His presence in Tamil Nadu is expected to spark further discussions due to his fluency in Tamil and potential political influence.

Tamil Nadu is gearing up for elections next year amidst an ideological clash. The DMK and AIADMK are the main parties, with BJP as their primary opposition. However, BJP has faced challenges in establishing its ideological presence among voters. Analysts suggest that if Pawan's tour influences public opinion even slightly, it could benefit Tamil Nadu BJP Chief Annamalai.

Pawan Kalyan's visit is anticipated to be a significant event given the current political climate. His actions and statements during this tour may have far-reaching effects on the state's political landscape.
