Patidar leaders Reshma Patel and Varun Patel join BJP
Patidar leaders Reshma Patel and Varun Patel on Saturday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of party chief Amit Shah.
Both had earlier today met Shah at the BJP office in Ahmedabad.

Patidar community leader Hardik Patel on Saturday said political parties must unite against BJP in upcoming Gujarat assembly elections.
Earlier, Gujarat state unit of Congress invited Patel to contest elections.
Bharat Solanki, Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President, said:"If Hardik Patel wants to contest the election, then Congress invites him to do so."
Subsequently, Hardik Patel told ANI,"Constitutionally speaking, I can't contest the election and I don't need to, in the first place."
"Although I believe we must unite against BJP, this isn't a BJP-Congress election but of 6 crore people of Gujarat," he added.
BJP-ruled Gujarat is likely to go to polls in November.
