Bihar News: Passport Adalat to be Held at RPO Patna on 12th November 2025 for Long-Pending Grievances

The Regional Passport Office in Patna will host a Passport Adalat on 12 November 2025 to resolve long-pending passport and Police Clearance Certificate issues. Applicants must register by 4 November to participate.

In a citizen-centric move aimed at resolving long-pending passport-related issues, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Patna, under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, will organize a Passport Adalat on 12th November 2025. The event will take place at the Public Hall, 2nd Floor, Block-D, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

This initiative is part of the Passport Seva Project, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to providing accessible, efficient, and timely services to the public.

The Passport Adalat is designed to address grievances related to Passport and Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) that have been pending for more than six months. During the event, the Regional Passport Officer, Patna, along with a team of senior officials, will directly engage with applicants to facilitate on-the-spot resolution of their issues, wherever possible.

Applicants who submitted their passport applications on or before 31st March 2025 and whose applications are still pending such applicants must express their willingness to attend the Adalat by submitting their File Number/ARN through one of the following methods:

Important Deadlines & Instructions

All correspondence (email or postal) must reach the RPO Patna by 4th November 2025. The subject line of the email or the envelope must clearly mention: "PASSPORT ADALAT – 12 November, 2025" Applicants will not be allowed to participate in the Adalat without prior submission of the required details and documentation.

Documents to Carry on the Day

Participants must bring the following:

1. A copy of the email/letter sent to RPO Patna requesting participation
2. The File Number/ARN issued by RPO Patna
3. All relevant original documents pertaining to the application
