Parliament Security Breach: 4 Held, 2 On Run; Read Preliminary Investigation Report Details

Parliament Security Breach: Six people, including five men and a woman, were involved in the Parliament security breach on Wednesday, according to the reports. Out of six, four have been detained by the police and two are absconding.

Today's Parliament security breach was a shocker for everyone as the day 'December 13' coincided with the anniversary of the terrorist attack that happened in 2001.

According to the reports, 2 men, identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, were arrested from inside the Lok Sabha for creating a ruckus and exploding color bombs. A man and woman, Anmol and Neelam, were held from outside the Parliament for spraying color gas and raising slogans.

As per the visuals from inside the Lok Sabha, two men jumped from the viewers' gallery into the area where the Members of the Parliament sit and tried to run towards the speaker's chair. The video shows that an accused took out a color bomb from his left shoe and released yellow gas before he was caught by the MPs.

    The visuals show yellow color smoke in the house after the incident. Similar color bombs were busted outside the Parliament too.

    Soon after the incident, the Delhi police took 4 accused to the Parliament House police station. While two are still on the run, said reports. As per the preliminary investigation, all accused knew each other and were connected on social media. They hail from different regions and gather in Gurugram before executing the plan, sources said.

    The Delhi Police told the media that the accused "claimed that they reached Parliament on their own and refused association with any organization. Police are forming a special team for interrogation."
