Panneerselvam hits back at Sasikala, was harassed and tortured

Chennai, Feb 12: Moments after Sasilala Natarajan accused O Panneerselvam of going all out to destroy the AIADMK, the in-charge Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu lashed out at Sasikala accusing her to shedding crocodile tears.

He alleged that he was harassed and tortured for years in the party and that Jayalalithaa was his only support. "I have never said this in public but I have been harassed and tortured in the party all these years. Amma was my only support. Passing remarks on a daily basis will do no good to anyone. I will prove things in the assembly," he said suggesting that he was preparing for a floor test to prove majority in the assembly.

Panneerselvam alleged that AIADMK MLAs are being threatened by goons and at being forced to support Sasikala. "I am receiving calls from MLAs alleging that each MLA is being watched by goons. MLAs are being harassed," he alleged.

He also claimed that party cadres and leaders have been opposing Sasikala becoming the Chief Minister minister of Tamil Nadu. He asked why Sasikal visits the resort to meet her MLAs in a hurry and also questioned the motive behind stopping Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa Jayakumar from entering Apollo hospital to meet her ailing aunt.

Panneerselvam camp is slowly gaining strength with more AIADMK leaders joining him. The count of MPs joining Panneerselvam jumped up by one on Sunday evening with Theni MP Parthiban extending support to Panneerselvam.
