Panic At Delhi's Gokulpuri Metro Station As Portion Of Boundary Wall Collapses
A section of the boundary wall of the Gokulpuri metro station, situated on the Pink line of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), collapsed on Thursday, leading to multiple reported injuries.
The incident prompted an immediate response from emergency services, including four fire engines and a team from the Delhi Police, who are currently at the scene assessing the situation and attending to the injured.

Four fire tenders and a team from the Delhi Police arrived at the scene.
According to reports, a portion of the side slab of a running metro line collapsed. One person sustained serious injuries after being trapped under the debris. However, Delhi Fire Services personnel managed to extricate him and swiftly transported him to GTB hospital.
Meanwhile, other casualties were taken to the hospital for treatment prior to the arrival of the DFS unit.

The debris is currently being cleared with the assistance of JCBs and cranes, with Delhi Metro staff and police personnel present at the scene.
The Delhi Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and relevant charges will be filed, they stated.
Situated on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro, the Gokulpuri metro station is where the incident occurred.
