Panama papers: Aishwarya Rai terms report untrue

New Delhi, Apr 4: The media adviser of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan whose name has appeared among list of tax evaders, has rejected the report, came to light on Monday.

More than 500 Indians including top Bollywood celebrities, politicians have been figured in the list of tax evaders. Over 11 million documents from the secret files of the Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonesca are being referred to as Panama Papers.

This shocking information has come to fore in a massive leak of 11.5 million tax documents compiled by a Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonesca.

Renouned firm Mossack Fonesca which has its office in more than 35 countries revealed the hidden offshore dealings of world celebrities.

Many world politicians including Russian president Vladimir Putin, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chinese President Xi Jinping have also appeared the list.

Apart from Aishwarya, Amitabh Bachchan, DLF's K P Singh, Indiabulls promoter Sameer Gehlaut and promoter of Apollo Tyres have also appeared in the list of tax evaders from India.
