Pakistan window to Central Asia, wants good relation with them: Mufti
Srinagar, Mar 23: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Monday, March 23, said that it was important to make good relation with neighbour Pakistan to do well in Central Asia.
"Pakistan is the window to Central Asia, we need good relations with them," Mufti said during the Legislative Council meet here.

Widely considered soft towards separatists and Pakistan, Mufti's comments gain importance after Kathua and Samba incident, which killed six people and injuring many.
Mufti had held Pakistan responsible for terrorism in the state.
Urging Pakistan to rein in the terrorists operating from its territory, he has asked Pakistan to control terrorism if it wants peace and reconciliation
Expressing concern over the incident, Mufti after the incident said that a message must go out to Islamabad from the "country's strongest and most powerful assembly" that attacks like the ones in Samba and Kathua won't be tolerated in the future.
