Pakistan opens fire on LoC again, woman injured

A woman was injured in the firing, which was retaliated from the Indian side.
"Pakistan army again violated the ceasefire on the LoC, opening fire with automatic weapons at Indian army positions in Sabjian area of Poonch district Monday afternoon," a police officer told IANS here.
"The Indian army has started retaliating to the unprovoked firing by Pakistan. Till last reports came in, firing exchanges were still going on in the area," the officer said.
There had been an overnight calm on the international border and the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir, but with Pakistan again violating the ceasefire, the lull was broken Monday afternoon.
Pakistan has been resorting to unprecedented targeting of civilian habitations since Oct 6. Eight people have been killed and 62 injured in the shelling.
Over 30,000 residents of border villages are living in relief camps away from their homes to avoid casualties.
