J&K: Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Karmara sector of Poonch
Jammu, March 12: The Pakistan Army on Sunday resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing on Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, authorities said.

Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta told IANS that the Pakistanis used 82 mm mortars and automatics to target Indian positions at Krishna Ghati sector on the Line of Control.
"The shelling and firing started at 12 a.m. and our troops have responded befittingly," he said. "Intermittent firing exchanges are still going on." The official said no casualty or damage was reported on the Indian side.
