Pak boat: Loshali apologises, Coast Guard rejects it
Bengaluru, Feb 20: DIG Loshali of the Indian Coast Guard has tendered his apology for his statements made on the Pakistan terror boat, but the same has been rejected, sources say.
The India Coast Guard had initiated an inquiry against Loshali after he had said he had ordered blowing up of the boat from Pakistan on the night of December 31 2014.

His statement ran contrary to the one made by the Defence Ministry which had said that it was the inmates of the boat who blew up the boat and themselves.
Inquiry initiated
Following the statement made by Loshali at a function an inquiry was initiated against him. He had however tendered a written clarification stating that a particular newspaper had quoted him out of context.

However a video surfaced which ran contrary to his clarification. In the video he was clearly seen stating he had ordered the blowing up of the boat. He had also said he did not want to serve the Pakistanis biriyani.
The inquiry committee called on Loshali to explain his stand and statement on the incident. He apologised to the committee, but the same was not accepted.
