Pahalgam Terror Attack: 5 Killed From Maharashtra, 3 From Karnataka - Full List of Victims
Among the 26 people who died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday, five tourists were from Maharashtra.
This attack is being described as the deadliest since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. Other casualties include three each from Gujarat and Karnataka, two from West Bengal, and one person each from Bihar, Chandigarh, Haryana, Kerala, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Kashmir.

Eyewitnesses and survivors recount a horrifying scene. Around 1:30 PM, six foreign terrorists, disguised in Indian Army fatigues, reportedly singled out victims based on religion. Victims were allegedly asked to identify themselves by name and recite Islamic verses before being shot at point-blank range.
Despite a strong security presence with multiple checkpoints and armed patrols, the assailants managed to breach the perimeter and execute the attack with chilling precision.
