Delhi HC refuses to cancel Pachauri's bail

New Delhi, July 16: Delhi High Court refused to cancel former TERI chief RK Pachauri's bail plea after allegations by the police that he was non-cooperative to the investigations in the sexual assault case.

Pachauri was questioned by the Delhi Police on Sunday when he refused to answer questions properly. On May 21, a local court barred Pachauri from his office and also complained about the slow progress of the sexual harassment case filed against him.

It also asked th epolice to finish investigation by July 17. An FIR was registered against him on February 13 on charges of sexual harassment, molestation and criminal intimidation of the Indian Penal Code.
