Owaisi Tears Into Pakistan Over Pahalgam Attack, Urges PM Modi To Weaken Islamabad Economically
Tearing into Pakistan yet again for the terror attack in Pahalgam, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday stated that Pakistan is half a century behind India.
Owaisi was addressing a public meeting at Prabhani in Maharashtra to protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Act.

The Hyderabad MP strongly condemned Pakistan for the terror attack and dismissed threats from Pakistani leaders.
"You are not merely half an hour behind; you are half a century behind India. Your national budget does not even match our military budget," he said.
"Pakistan often boasts of its nuclear and atomic weapons. Remember, if you enter another country and kill innocent people, no nation will remain silent," he warned.
The AIMIM leader reiterated that the terrorists had asked the religion of tourists before killing them at Pahalgam.
"Which religion are you referring to? You are worse than the Khawarij. This act proves you are the successors of ISIS," he said.
Owaisi alleged that Pakistan had been training terrorists for years with the aim of targeting India. He further stated that international law permits India to impose a blockade on Pakistan's Air Force and enables India to use ethical hackers to disrupt their internet infrastructure.
He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take decisive action to economically weaken Pakistan.
Addressing PM Modi directly, Owaisi emphasised that Kashmiris, like Kashmir, are an integral part of India.
"Some TV anchors are speaking against Kashmiris - they are shameless. If Kashmir is our integral part and shall always remain so, then Kashmiris are too. How can we doubt them?" he questioned.
He highlighted that it was a Kashmiri who sacrificed his life fighting the terrorists, and another Kashmiri who carried an injured child on his back for 40 minutes to save him.
Speaking on the Waqf (Amendment) Act, Owaisi called on people to join protest programmes announced by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB). He encouraged participation in the 'Batti Gul' programme on 30 April by switching off lights.
The AIMIM chief also criticised Ajit Pawar, Nitish Kumar, Jayant Chaudhary, and Chandrababu Naidu for supporting the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, asserting that Muslims and secular-minded citizens would not forgive them.
Owaisi accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of once again betraying trust.
Targeting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, he said Naidu had jeopardised his son's political future by backing the Bill.
