As she refused to pay extra money, he threatened her to parade naked in the village over the phone. She then lodged a complaint with Khusrupur police station over the harassment on Saturday.

"A police team visited the village on Saturday to inquire about the complaint, which apparently angered Pramod and his associates. They went to her house at around 10 pm on Saturday and forcibly took her to Pramod's house," a victim's relative told the news agency.

The victim was stripped at his house and beaten up. Then he asked his son Anshu Singh to urinate in her mouth.

However, she escaped from his house and her family members brought the incident to the police's notice.

There, she was allegedly disrobed and beaten up with fists and sticks. "Pramod asked his son to urinate on my mouth. He did so. After that, I somehow managed to escape and returned home," the woman said in a statement to the police.

The cops registered the FIR and took her to the primary health care. However, the key accused, Pramod Singh and his son Anshu Singh, are absconding.

"We have registered an FIR against the accused and raids are on to nab them. The victim is admitted in the hospital and undergoing treatment," the IANS quoted Khusrupur police station SHO Siaram Yadav as saying.

On brutality against a woman, SSP Rajiv Mishra says, "...Our team is trying to arrest the accused... According to local witnesses, the woman and her husband had borrowed some money from the accused. There was a dispute over it, and an incident of violence occurred. As per the local witnesses, the allegations of disrobing and other allegations have not been confirmed yet. The investigations are in their initial stages.

We have submitted a proposal to the district welfare officer to give compensation to the woman. The woman is being given medical treatment. Whatever facts come up, we will do further investigation into them. The evidence of urination has not been confirmed yet. The local witnesses, too, have not confirmed this. They have confirmed the incident of a woman being beaten up. We will arrest the accused soon."
