OROP Politics: Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal to attend army veteran’s funeral in Haryana
According to media reports, retired Subedar Ram Kishan Grewal's funeral will be held in his village in Bhiwani, Haryana on Thursday.
New Delhi, Nov 3: After being detained by the Delhi Police for trying to meet the family members of army veteran Ram Kishan Grewal, who allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi are going to attend the ex-serviceman's funeral in Haryana on Thursday.
The suicide by Grewal over One Rank One Pension (OROP) snowballed into a huge political show with Gandhi, Kejriwal and other opposition leaders being detained by the Delhi police.

Later on both Gandhi and Kejriwal were allowed to leave the police stations, where they were kept for hours.
According to media reports, retired Subedar Grewal's funeral will be held in his village in Bhiwani, Haryana, which is around 100 km from Delhi.
"Will go to their village and meet Ram Kishan ji's family there today," Kejriwal has tweeted this morning.
Gandhi was also scheduled to reach the village before afternoon. Derek O' Brien of Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Party drove through the night and reached early morning, according to reports.
