Opposition exposes itself as unity among them a far cry!
New Delhi, July 21: No confidence motion against the Narendra Modi government at the Center was defeated by the voice without any voting taking place. But the entire exercise not only lacked lack of coordination among the Opposition political parties but chinks in their armors were also quite visible.

The disjointed move by the principal opposition Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) fail to put across the point that if they brought in the no-confidence motion against the government on the issue of special package denied to Andhra Pradesh or alleged failure of the government on many issue like corruption, inflation and issue of farmers and many more. On the contrary those group which wanted to corner the government were actually fighting against each other even in the debate.
Initiating the debate, TDP leader Jaydev Galla said that this no-confidence motion is the repercussion of the Modi-Shah saga of unfulfilled promises that they made to people of AP. Galla attacked the Congress which was in support of the move by saying that the Congress had done injustice at the time of carving Telengana out of Andhra Pradesh with Andhra Pradesh getting a shabby deal. The division was done in unjust manner.
The Congress accused the TDP of joining the NDA and now parting way. However, the rest of the political parties were not at all bothered about the issue for which no-confidence was brought in rather they were trying to highlight such points that might give them some benefit in the next Lok Sabha elections.
Telengana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has its own argument by saying the Centre rather facilitated more to Andhra Pradesh and even Telengana cooperated with it and such works that could have taken 10-15 years in normal condition were done in two to three years referring to projects like Polawaram project. The Telengana government focused on the development of the state.
Prime minister while replying to every member participated in the debate said that the issue of Andhra Pradesh is not their it is a nation issue. If Andhra Pradesh develops its impact will be across the country. So the allegation that the Centre has not done anything for Andhra Pradesh is wrong. The PM accused, "When TDP decided to part ways with the NDA, I warned N Chandrababu Naidu over phone that don't get trapped in the politics of YRS Congress but he was trapped in it. So the battle of TDP and YRS Congress is being fought in Parliament. There was no need for this no need for this no-confidence while adding that there were issues between the TDP and the TRS and several issues were mediated by the Union Home minister and myself but TRS took the development path and it is in the right direction but Andhra Pradesh lost the way.
The PM took a dig on the Congress by saying that the Congress never leaves anyone to remain in peace. It divided India and Pakistan and the country is still facing the curse so is the case of Andhra and Telengana on the contrary Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh and Jharkhand are in peace which was done by the NDA.
