Operation Sindoor: A Delegation To Meet, Present Its Report To PM Modi About Outreach

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet a delegation on June 9 and 10, who will present a report about ace leaders visit to 33 countries to expose terror-supporting nation- Pakistan. India deployed multi-party delegations as a strategic move to strengthen its international stance against terrorism. These leaders talked about the tragic Pahalgam terror attack and the initiation of Operation Sindoor.

These groups, consisting of Members of Parliament, senior political figures, and experienced diplomats, were tasked to tell world leaders about India's anti-terrorism efforts.

These briefings will highlight the international community's reactions to the Pahalgam incident and the wider measures India has taken to combat terror threats.

In a remarkable demonstration of cross-party collaboration, seven delegations were dispatched, each led by a notable parliamentarian. These leaders represented a broad political spectrum, showcasing India's unified stance against terrorism. Among them were Shashi Tharoor from the Indian National Congress, Ravi Shankar Prasad from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Sanjay Kumar Jha of the Janata Dal United, Baijayant Panda also from the BJP, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Supriya Sule of the Nationalist Congress Party, and Shrikant Eknath Shinde from Shiv Sena.

Their diplomatic mission aimed at conveying India's message on the global stage, emphasizing the country's dedication to combating terrorism, maintaining national security, and ensuring regional stability. These efforts were not limited to discussions but also encompassed gaining insights into the international perspective on India's situation and strategies.

In a precursor to the meeting with PM Modi, a delegation led by Baijayant Panda is scheduled for a briefing session with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Set for 2.30 pm tomorrow, the session will focus on their diplomatic visit to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Algeria, providing insights into these countries' views and responses to India's anti-terrorism campaign.
