Operation Mahadev: PM Modi Criticises Opposition For Questioning Timing Of Counter-Terrorism Actions
Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised the Opposition for questioning the timing of Operation Mahadev, which resulted in the deaths of three terrorists linked to the Pahalgam attack. During a parliamentary debate on Operation Sindoor, he expressed his dismay at the Opposition's stance.
In response to criticism, PM Modi questioned if the government should have waited for a specific day like 'saawan ka somwar' to conduct Operation Sindoor. He expressed frustration over the Opposition's disappointment and their queries about the Pahalgam terrorists.

Operation Mahadev and Its Outcomes
The joint operation by the Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police successfully neutralised three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed this during an official statement.
The terrorists killed were identified as Suleman, Afghan, and Jibran. They were members of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a notorious terrorist organisation.
Congress's Stance on Pakistan
PM Modi also accused Congress of giving Pakistan a "clean chit" by questioning whether the Pahalgam attackers were indeed from Pakistan. He highlighted that both Congress and Pakistan are demanding proof regarding the origins of these terrorists.
"The country is surprised that Congress has given a clean chit to Pakistan. They are saying that the terrorists of Pahalgam were from Pakistan. Give us proof of this. Pakistan is also demanding the same thing that Congress is making..." PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister's remarks came amid ongoing debates about national security and terrorism in Parliament. The discussions have intensified following recent operations against terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
The government's firm stance on counter-terrorism operations reflects its commitment to ensuring national security. The successful execution of Operation Mahadev underscores this resolve.
