Online ticketing fraud comes to light before Baahubali-2 release
The allegation made by the people is that the website had kept bookings for the much awaited movie despite the tickets being sold out.
Baahubali-2 hits the screens on April 28 and there was bound to be a rush for tickets for such a hot selling movie. However many people are now complaining about a huge online ticketing scam. A website that has been registered in Coimbatore has been accused of selling tickets online and duping people.

The allegation made by the people is that the website had kept bookings for the much-awaited movie, despite the tickets being sold out. For instance, if the tickets at a movie theatre were actually sold out, this website would show it as available.
The people say that they had booked tickets through newtickets.in. Many people even approached the police in their respective states to complain about the portal. It is alleged that the website had created a huge database of theatres across the world and opened booking for Baahubali 2. However, people say that they never received the tickets after they booked them. When they checked on the sites of the theatres and other online booking portals, they had found that the tickets had been sold out. Currently, if one were to open the portal and check the status of the tickets in every city, the theatre shows as 'sold out.'
