Online applications for Karnataka Recruitment of Gazetted Probationers out

Bengaluru, Jan 22:Applications are invited by the Commission through ON-LINE as per Notification No. E(1) 999/2014-15/PSC dated:22-01-2015 from eligible candidates for recruitment to 440 posts of Gazetted Probationer's Group ‘A' and ‘B'- 2014 as per the Karnataka Recruitment of Gazetted Probationers (Appointment by Competitive Examinations) Rules, 1997 and as amended from time to time.

The date of commencement of filing the application through ON-LINE is 22-01-2015 and the last date for filing the application is 20-02-2015 (Before 11.45 PM.) The last date for payment of application fee is 21-02-2015. The candidates must pay the application fee at any of the Computerized Post Offices in Karnataka within the working hours of the Post Offices.

QUALIFICATION: No candidate shall be eligible for recruitment under these rules unless he possesses Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree awarded by a University established by Law in India or possess an equivalent qualification. Provided that, candidates who have appeared for an examination, passing of which would render them educationally qualified for preliminary examination conducted by the Commission, but the results of which have not been declared, are also eligible for admission to such preliminary examination.

Attempts at the Examination: As prescribed in the Karnataka Recruitment of Gazetted Probationers (Appointment by Competitive Examinations) Rules, 1997 every candidate appearing for the examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted for any number of attempts as prescribed as per the rules and also As per the Government Notification dated: 24-11-2014 "in respect of this notification and for the subsequent notification to be issued for the next immediate recruitment, candidate who are otherwise eligible shall be allowed two more attempts over and above the eligible number of attempts".

Age Limit: Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age: General Merit-35 years, 2A/2B/3A/3B-38 years, SC/ST/Cat.: 1-40 years. For Ex-servicemen, age relaxation is given as per rules. Ten years age relaxation is given for Physically Handicapped person and widow. In accordance with the Government Notification dated:05-12-2014, for the respective notification and the subsequent notification only, 2 years of the age relaxation will be given to the eligible candidates as per the existing rules.

Examination Fee: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Category-I and Ex-servicemen: 25/-, Others : 300/-
