OneIndia Exclusive | Will Get Land Survey Done In Manika If We Win: BJP Candidate Hariskrishna Singh
Manika constituency in Jharkhand is a hotly-contested seat. Both BJP and INDIA bloc will give their best to score big in this high-stakes poll battle from Manika.
BJP candidate Harikrishna Singh, running from Manika for a third time, spoke exclusively to OneIndia. He highlighted BJP's contributions to infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and a local degree college. Singh has been elected twice from Manika - 2009 and 2014.

He slammed the incumbent Hemant Soren government for corruption, neglecting public welfare, and prioritising personal gain. He promises a land survey and improved irrigation for farmers if elected, emphasising public trust in the BJP and a strong desire to remove corrupt leaders and government figures from power.
Talking about the tribal welfare initiatives taken in Manika in his previous stint, Singh said, "I myself belong to the tribal community. When I was elected in 2009, the first thing I did was to erect power lines and provide electricity to the people here. We built roads and a degree college. Most importantly, we made women feel safe."
Criticising the Hemant Soren government, Singh said that current dispensation never showed any interest in the PM Awas Yojana, neither did they implement it in the region.
"JMM, Congress, RJD have no connect with locals issues here. They don't want development. They just want to fill their pockets."
When asked about his agenda for Manika, Singh said, "BJP's first priority here is to fix the issues related to land. We will get a mini survey of the land done. Secondly, we will ensure employment for the youth by providing them professional training."
