UP: One killed, 12 injured in clash between Dalits, Rajputs
Ballia (UP), Jun 21: A 48-year-old Dalit man was killed and 12 others were injured in a clash between Rajputs and Dalits in Ubhaon area in the district, police said today.
"Shyam Narain was killed when the two groups clashed over supremacy in Pallia village last night," Additional Superintendent of Police KC Goswami said.
The injured were admitted to the community health center from where five persons have been referred to the district hospital.
The body has been sent for post mortem, police added.
