OMG! Class VII girl students caught watching porn in school, suspended

Coimbatore, July 10: Local media in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu had gone abuzz with a news involving a few school students who have been caught watching porn clips in their mobile phone.

The girls, students of Class VII, have been suspended from school for one week. The incident took place in a CBSE school which is located at Sai Baba colony in the city.

According to sources, a teacher, who was taking class, noticed some disturbance in the last bench. She asked the girls seating in the last bench and found a mobile phone from them.

When she checked the mobile phone, she found porn clips in that. Without wasting any time, the teacher took the students to the school principal who later called the parents of the students.

All girls submitted handwritten apology letters. Their parents too apologised for the shocking incident and regretted their decision of giving mobile phones to their daughters.

As the incident made headlines, RR Mohan Kumar, district secretary of MDMK, has been quoted as saying, "This is a shocking and agonising incident and I do not understand where Tamil Nadu is heading?"

"The morals and values have taken the back seat. Incidents like students watching pornography and consuming alcohol have become regular issues to talk about," he added while speaking to media.
