Odisha Train Accident: Here Are The Helpline Numbers
Multiple coaches of the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express derailed near Bahanaga station in Odisha's Balasore after colliding with a goods train. The derailment involved three trains, two of which were passenger trains and another a goods train.
The injured have been shifted to Soro CHC, Gopalpur CHC, and Khantapada PHC, said Chief Secretary, Odisha.

NDRF's first team of 22 members from Balasore Railway Station (BLS) is on the site. Another team from Centralised Traffic Control (CTC) of 32 members started half an hour before, said officials. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed the state minister Pramila Mallik and Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) to reach the accident site immediately. Minister and SRC are heading towards the incident place.

On the other hand, several trains have been cancelled while some are diverted in the section affected by the train derailment in Odisha's Balasore district.
Speaking about the ongoing relief and rescue operation, the NDRF DIG told ANI, "The search operation inside the coaches is already underway. We haven't yet determined the number of deaths in the accident as the focus right now is on response. We're trying to save as many lives as possible and we will try our best with the resources at our disposal. We're also in constant touch with the state government and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) as part of the rescue operation."
