Odisha: One dead, 3 injured due to fire in cracker shop

The fire broke out due to short-circuit in a firecracker shop , reported ANI.

At least one person was killed and three others injured as a fire broke out at firecracker shop on the day of Diwali in Odisha's Rourkela.

The incident took place around 2:30 am- 3 am on Wednesday. "We are conducting the inquiry in this matter and the causality has not been identified," said Ramesh Chandra Dora, Inspector-in-charge Rourkela Power House Police Station.

The fire broke out due to short-circuit in a firecracker shop, reported ANI. Firefighters have doused the flames. But, the visuals provided by ANI showed damages to the goods and property.

The injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment.
