Odisha: 25-year old gangraped, abandoned at railway station

Initially, the woman was not in a condition to express her ordeal, but later she narrated the entire story. Police said,"she had left her home in Raipur in Chhattisgarh after a fight with family members and took a train to Puri in Odisha. On her way back, she got down at the Cuttack station. There, these four men, on the pretext of helping her took her to an isolated location and raped her."
The mediaperson who took the woman to the police station said,"Yesterday night around 9 pm, we saw the woman crying in Buxibazar. We asked her what had happened. She was unable to express her ordeal as she was speaking in Hindi. We took her to Mahila Police Station when we came to know about the incident and registered an FIR."
The woman had injury marks on her legs and hands; however, the allegations are yet to be ascertained as the woman is not mentally stable. The police is questioning the girl. Cuttack DCP Praveen Kumar said that a case has been registered. He further added,"She said she was raped by four youth. We will conduct her medical test. But we have not able to contact her family members yet."
