Crucial Decision: NSA Ajit Doval named for border talks with China

New Delhi, Nov 24: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval was Monday appointed India's special representative to conduct boundary negotiations and strategic consultations with China, an official statement said.

"Ajit Doval, NSA, appointed as the special representative of India to conduct boundary negotiations and strategic consultations with China," the Prime Minister's Office said in the statement.

"This arrangement will be part of NSA's overall assignment," the statement added.
