Now wife's name must for registration of land

Ghaziabad, Mar 26: Now a person applying for the registration of land in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, will have to get his wife's name registered.

According to the orders received by Ghaziabad Development Authority, all buyers of GDA property after 2002 will have to get their wives' names registered, GDA sources said.

But it is not mandatory for women to register their spouses name during the registry, they said.
