Now book TaxiForSure cabs from Ola app

New Delhi, June 26: Ola cabs has integrated TaxiForSure services into its own app, on official said on Friday.

The TaxiForSure's hatchback service will now be an additional option alongside Ola's Mini, Sedan, Prime and Kaali-Peeli services on Android.

In March, Ola acquired TaxiForSure for a $200 million deal (around Rs.1,260 crore).

TFS' hatchback fleet will first become available to Ola users in New Delhi and Mumbai, and in other cities over the next few weeks.

"By bringing TaxiForSure hatchbacks onto the Ola app, we have unlocked complimentary value. While this will help us in terms of making more vehicles available to our customers, the end-user will also have more choice", Ola chief operating officer Pranay Jivrajka told IANS.

He added that drivers on the TaxiForSure platform will also be able to serve more customers straight from the Ola platform.

"Ola, which offers Ola Mini in a similar category, currently charges Rs.100 as base fare. The new feature is going live in Delhi and Mumbai to begin with, and to other cities like Kolkata, Bangalore and Pune in a phased manner over the next few weeks", he said.
