Now, Airtel offers 2GB data per day on recharge of Rs 149

Telecom giant Airtel is now offering 2GB 3g/4g data per day for 28 days at Rs 149. However, it is currently not available for all users.

What is it Airtel offering at Rs 149?

The new Rs. 149 Airtel recharge plans now offer subscribers a daily limit of 2GB of 3G/4G data with a validity of 28 days. Along with this, it is also offering unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day.

By offering 0.5 GB extra, Airtel is looking to stay alive in the intense data war which has been unleashed ever since Reliance Jio entered the market.

Airtel earlier offered 1GB daily 3G/ 4G data access for Rs 149 and now they have doubled it. It is also offering 2.4GB for Rs 399 with a validity of 84 days. All other benefits and durations continue to remain same. The pack is now more cost-effective than Jio's, which wasn't the case a couple of months back.

What is Jio offering at Rs 149 plan?

For Rs. 149, Jio is offering 1.5GB of 4G daily data and the plan is valid for 28 days. If you exhaust the daily data limit, you will still have access to the internet but at a low-speed of 64Kbps. Under this pack, you also get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, 100 SMSes per day and a free subscription to Jio apps.
