Following the incident, an FIR was registered under sections 302 (murder), 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the Arms Act at Sector 8 police station. The complaint was filed by Pehalwan's wife, Rajjo Devi, who is now seeking justice for her husband's untimely demise.
