'Notorious criminal' arrested in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 2: An alleged "notorious criminal" was arrested in Karauli district today, police said.

Following a tip off, a police team combed a forest area and nabbed Banti Meena alias Gajendra who was carrying a cash reward of Rs 5000 on his head, SP, Karauli, Anil Kayal said, adding a gun and three live cartridges were seized from his possession.

He was active in Dholpur, Bharatpur and Karauli districts and nearby areas, he said.
