Noida Traffic Police Announces Diversions and Parking Arrangements for Parinirvan Diwas at Dalit Prerna Sthal
In anticipation of a large gathering at the Dalit Prerna Sthal for the commemoration of Parinirvan Diwas, a day that marks the death anniversary of Dalit icon Kanshi Ram, Noida traffic police have announced several traffic diversions and parking arrangements. The event is scheduled to take place on October 9 and is expected to draw substantial crowds from across the region.

On Saturday, October 7, authorities detailed how they plan to manage vehicular movement in order to minimize congestion around this significant event. They outlined specific routes that would be affected by these changes and provided alternative directions for motorists travelling between Greater Noida and Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Diversion Plans
Vehicles moving from Greater Noida towards Noida will face a diversion from the Mahamaya flyover towards Sector 37 if there's congestion near the Dalit Prerna Sthal. From Sector 37, traffic can proceed towards Atta Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector 15 roundabout and continue further towards its destination.
If congestion occurs near Gate number 4 of Dalit Prerna Sthal, an alternate route has been established where traffic will be rerouted from Film City flyover towards Sector 18. From there it will be directed either via Rajnigandha Chowk or through an elevated corridor near Sector 18 before proceeding towards their respective destinations.
Moving Towards Greater Nodia
For those commuting from Noida to Greater Nodia on the same expressway, potential bottlenecks are anticipated near DND or Film City flyover. In such cases, traffic will be diverted from a flyover located close to sector 14A. This redirected flow can then proceed towards Sector 15 roundabout and Rajnigandha Chowk, Atta.
The traffic police have made these arrangements to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the event. They anticipate a large turnout of people for the commemoration of Parinirvan Diwas, which marks an important day in India's Dalit history. Kanshi Ram was a prominent Dalit icon who founded many organizations to promote the welfare and rights of the Dalits and other marginalized communities in India.
The Noida Traffic Police have urged motorists to follow these diversions diligently in order to avoid any inconvenience or delay. They have also requested citizens to cooperate with traffic officials who will be deployed at various points along these routes to manage traffic flow efficiently.
In conclusion, while remembering an iconic figure like Kanshi Ram is indeed significant, it is equally crucial that such events do not disrupt normal life for residents. The detailed planning by Noida Traffic Police is commendable as they strive not only to honour a historic day but also ensure minimum disruption for commuters on this particular day. It serves as an example of how careful planning can help manage large scale public gatherings without causing major inconveniences.
