Noida Women Preeti And Vineeta Facing Legal Action Over Viral Holi Video, Slapped With Hefty Challan

Legal action is being faced by Preeti and Vineeta, along with their partner Piyush, as their Holi reels went viral on social media, with a First Information Report (FIR) filed against them by the Noida Police and a total fine of ₹80,500 imposed on the scooter owner.

Several videos were made by the trio on Holi, including one where Preeti and Vineeta are seen riding a pillion with Piyush, playing Holi with colors while the song "Ang Laga De" from the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela plays in the background, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Heavy Challan for Noida Women

Another video depicts Preeti performing stunts on a moving scooter, resulting in an accident when she falls off as Piyush applies brakes. Additionally, a third video shows Preeti and Vineeta sitting on the floor of the Delhi Metro, putting colors on each other, also accompanied by the song "Ang Laga De" from the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela.

Who are Preeti, Vineeta and Piyush?

Preeti is from Uttarakhand, while Vineeta resides in Noida, and Piyush is based in Delhi. They have been collaborating on video content for several months. However, their recent Holi-themed videos have landed them in trouble. In a conversation with Aaj Tak's Arvind Ojha, it was revealed by the trio that they do not have enough money to pay the fine imposed by Noida Traffic Police, as reported by Hindustan Times.

They admitted their mistake and expressed their inability to pay the hefty fine imposed by the Noida Traffic Police. It was clarified by them that their intention was not to perform stunts but to create Instagram reels. It was shared by Preeti that she lives in Delhi only to make videos, and most of her videos have gone viral on social media. Financial instability within her family, hindering her education and job prospects, was cited by her as a significant obstacle.

Vineeta, who has been making reels for over two years now, has been juggling odd jobs to sustain herself financially while pursuing her passion for content creation. Piyush, who assists the duo in shooting reels and also acts in a few of them, has only completed his education till Class 12. He earns ₹6,000-7,000 a month from odd jobs and also creates reels, as per media reports.

The trio acknowledged that they had made a serious mistake and promised not to repeat it. They also stated that they did not think their video was obscene, but if social media users felt that it was, they would refrain from creating similar content in the future. Vineeta, who owns the scooty and received a call from the police, claimed that she was informed by the police that if the fine is not paid, they will face a jail term.
