Noida Incident: Software Engineer, Four Others Arrested Following Viral Clash
On Tuesday, police arrested four maintenance team members and a software engineer after a video of a clash in a residential complex went viral. The incident occurred on Sunday at the Futec Gateway society in Sector 75.

In the video, maintenance team members are seen assaulting a man with sticks. The exact reason for the assault is still unclear. However, officials said the arrested techie and two friends were allegedly intoxicated when they argued with the maintenance team.
Police Action and Arrests
The police took suo motu cognisance of the incident, leading to an FIR being lodged under provisions of the BNS at Sector 113 police station. Additional DCP Noida Manish Kumar Mishra confirmed this development.
"Five people have been arrested in connection with the case," said Mishra. Another official stated that four of those arrested are from the maintenance team, while the fifth is a software engineer involved in the altercation.
Incident Details and Aftermath
The man who was assaulted is now in stable condition, according to an official. The video has sparked significant attention, highlighting issues within residential complexes.
The police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the argument and subsequent assault. The incident has raised concerns about safety and security in residential areas.
Authorities are urging residents to maintain decorum and resolve disputes amicably to prevent such incidents in the future.
