Private Security Guard Arrested for Molesting 10-Year-Old Girl in Noida

A private security guard working at a group housing society in Noida has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old girl. The incident took place while the girl was returning home from the society playground. Another man was also arrested for molesting a 9-year-old girl in the same area.

In a disturbing revelation from Noida, a private security guard was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly sexually harassing a minor girl. The 46-year-old man worked as a security guard in a group housing society located in Sector 77 of the city. The incident came to light when an FIR was registered against him at the local police station in Sector 113.

The alleged molestation took place around 5 pm on Sunday, according to an official statement. The victim, a ten-year-old girl, was returning home after playing in the society playground when she fell prey to this heinous crime. Following this traumatic event, her parents lodged an FIR against the accused under Section 354 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to assault or force with intent to outrage a woman's modesty and provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Arrest and Legal Proceedings

The accused has since been apprehended by law enforcement officials from his residence in Sector 77. A spokesperson for the police confirmed that legal proceedings have commenced regarding this case.

A Similar Case Emerges

In another alarming case reported within the same jurisdiction, another man was arrested for allegedly molesting a nine-year-old girl earlier this year in July. This second accused is said to be living within close proximity to his victim's residence - residing within the same building complex as her family. An FIR had been filed against him based on complaints received from her family on July 28th . He too has been charged under sections 354 and section 354A – sexual harassment –of IPC along with relevant provisions under POCSO Act.

Continued Police Action

This suspect was tracked down and arrested near the metro station in Sector 50, as per the police spokesperson. There are ongoing legal proceedings against him as well.
